Addiction

Thy name is Modern Warfare 2 and Assassins Creed 2. I think those games are the largest contributing factor in why I haven't posted in a few weeks....that and homework. In either case both are incredibly addicting.

While I love multiplayer CoD more than any other multiplayer shooter....all it takes is one really good sniper or double shotgunning player to piss me off so much and end my gaming session. Yesterday I had both. First up it was the sniper, then the shotguns 2 hours later. For each I would see them for a second and maybe get one shot off before...bam...dead.

This made this Penny Arcade strip hilarious.

  1. Haha, I'm glad they finally fixed the Javalin thing. This game is so great. I can sit down and play for hours and not get sick of it.

The latest downside of playing this game online is getting into games that are hacked or bugged. Some examples of this include games of domination that are to roughly a million points instead of 200. Endless carnage.

Another example, which may be at the fault of the developers and not of a user exploit, is joining team games, with teammmates that are scored as free for all games. Shoot the enemy: 50 points. Shoot your teammate: 50 points. Spawning and dying is not fun.

A third example is when you try to do a third person mode and it ends up as first person or vice versa.

Aside from those three things this game is quite enjoyable online. Oh, and muting everyone is the only way to play.
